Finally, some down time...

#1

Post by waterdog247 »

I wanted to post up a couple pics of some summer trips earlier, but for the last two months, haven't had a spare second.

We took the boat up to Neah Bay for week and got some great fishing in. Landed a couple of beautiful Chinook, two Coho, and a bunch of Pinks.

we spent a week in the San Juans, camping on Jones Island, and exploring many others.

She has run flawlessly all year. The only trouble we have had is with the trailer brakes, but got those sorted out in short order. It seems like my free time is so limited, I try and cram as much in as I can. Then I end up needing some downtime to recover from my free time... It's a vicious circle! I can't wait to retire...

Glad to see you got your boat on the water! She looks great and that's a great haul you got there. I was wondering where in the world you disappeared to.

Thanks Ken,
work had me running ragged for a while. I think I had two days off since the middle of July. It really is amazing how fast this year is going.

Glad to see you are getting some time out and in the water. Those dungies sure look tasty. I sure wish we were allowed to harvest them in my area. They are like candy! A guy needs break from shrimp every once in a while.

Fishing, crabbing, diving and camping from the boat. That about covers it all. That's the life! Enjoy all.

never seen how that back deck looked before, because all he other pics no one was up in her.
If anyone ever falls over board on that boat, jus keep driving because they would have wanted to go swimming anyhow.
Ya'll could transport ponies on that boat.

Nice pics

I'll assume the water's c-o-l-d. :rotfl: :rotfl:
