Neah Bay in new boat

#1

Post by Napa Mike »

Hi all:

We are very happy with the new boat. It performed flawlessly on our trip to Neah Bay. We found the fish out at swifsure bank. It was loaded with schools of big fat herring. we got 11 salmon over two days including 8 chinook. No trophies, the biggest was around 15 pounds caught by my brother Tony. Highlight of the trip was the giant Halibut my Pops caught trolling for Salmon just off Wahdah Island in about 40 feet of water--any deeper and we could not have brought her to the surface. We let her go as Halibut was not open. We have never caught one that size before--it was at least 4 and a half feet long and 5 or 6 inches thick.

Cheers!
Mike
