Fluke Till'Ya Puke 2016

#1

Post by AlloyToy »

As a annual tradition my youngest son and I fish the Fluke Till'Ya Puke Tournament every father's day weekend. This year there were over 1200 entries in the boat, juniors, kayak, and ladies division making this the largest one day tournament in the USA. We fished hard but only could produce a 5.97 lb fish for our efforts which fell short for the larger winning fish. Top price of 5K went to an angler whom weighed in a 10.7 lb fish.

Many large sea bass over 5lbs caught and released. Whom ever is doing the research on these fish really has their wires crossed. The numbers of healthy large sea bass are incredible. Finished off the day splitting a large plate of homemade calamari and a beer with my son.

Still a great day on the water fishing with my son. Here are a few pics from the day.

Damn I'm HUNGRY NOW! Love seeing them big "greenheads" ya'll catch. I believe a stealthy Sneak a peek is way over due of that boat. "A video documentary" would be great. Can't count on any new video's from Pacific, their YouTube channel is on Life Support.

Looking into a Fishing bow. A real top O' the line one so I can shoot those damn 25 pound Spadefish I see on the reefs that swim right up to my boat and wink at me.

Many a business should take a lesson from "AMS bowfishing". Their presence on YT is thru the roof. They interact with customers and potential customers, they teach people (like me) about their products. They talk about their products, they go use their products. That's how you do it in today's world.
