Spent the week camping over in Jamestown RI again this year with the family and some friends. Canoeing clamming beach, and fishing. On Wed last week we started over in front of Newport to see if we could find some keeper fluke. Did manage a couple but not enough to keep the teens excited. Made the 8 mile run east to Sakonnet where we had the place to ourselves  Once we found the fish it was lock and load fishing with large sea bass to 5 lbs and large keeper size fluke kept rods bent. Sometimes 3 rods at a time  We fished the SE drift thru the afternoon tide before heading back to camp to make some delicious fish taco's with fresh tomato's and lettuce from our garden

Thurs we hung out on the beach on the north end of Dutch Island. The Martha's Vineyard high speed ferry came down the west passage of the bay creating a monster wake sending the boat onto the beach before I could get the second anchor out  Waited out the tide and were good to go around 5pm...........thank you Alloy

More fish pics to come
