- Location: Tree-hugger, USA...they call it FLA.
I'm very interested in seeing "the Box" on the stern.....looks Livewell'ish to me.
You can just catch a glimse ofd it on that interior shot.
Where the heck is S.L. Dave?
This is just what he was looking for...
Man oh man, will ya look at the nice red piping along that seat, and those red coushions......holy begeezers!
And closed in Gunnel boxes too..that's a boat ready for any eskimo.
I'd also be interested in seeing the """NEW""" Aluminum deck plate/hatch and the size of the opening, versus the Armstrong Compression's.
-WHY THE SWITCH?
Can ya tell, I'm all about the details......baby!

WOW
Now that is a nice boat! How long is the rear deck? Also I see some type of box at the back of the cabin. Is that welded in place or is it something removable? I hope I can take a look at her at the Seattle boat show tommorow. That is just about the perfect boat for fishing up here in the Pacific North West.

Jettywolf: you can get away with a center console up here if you only fish may-october, but you would be hard pressed to get customers to pay to go with you. I have fished a Center Console for the last 3 years and I love them. There is a small but very hardcore group of CC guys up here that I fish with. Most of them are running Pursuits and Whalers.

I think that is a roll-up privacy screen for the cuddy. I was on this boat yesterday, very sweet rig. I took some pics of it at the show but they aren't really any different than what is already here.

For a boat that is going to a warm climate.
This type of window in the windshield would be needed.
When you open a window like this it will create a vortex thru the pilothouse to keep you cool.
This split style window would cut down on such a big opening.
[weight of the glass and strength in the opening]
I have seen some that just the bottom section opens.
Either one would still allow the windshied wiper motor to remain in it's present position.
I see a lot of new pilothouse being built today on the market that the manufacture thinks that small side vent windows will scoop enough air into the pilothouse. Nothing could be farther from the truth in the hot Florida sun on a no breeze day.
[Edgewater,McKee & Mako]
This is not a option. It's mandatory for where I'm at.

Great stuff.
Movable windows (sliders, hinged, etc.) are always an option.
The boat below went to just outside Pensacola, FL w/o movable windows and the owner (not a THT or AAB participant) reports that he is very comfortable - surprisingly comfortable.
(Piture taken for a photo shoot - obviously not the Florida panhandle!)
