Some pictures from this weekend.
Just for fun I hooked up my Pacific 1925 to my '12 JK to see how it would do, towed and stopped it no problem, but the trailer has way too much tongue weight, I am going to move the boat back 6" and see if it makes a difference. Towed it up to the lake with my Tundra.
Running out to go fishing in the morning, I need more HP, running about 5500rpm 28mph, tops out around 33mph at 6200rpm, the lake is usually this flat, I need a 150hp so I can cruise at 40mph ++, the new Mercury 150hp is looking pretty good.
New console door I made from 1/2" starboard. The frame is double thick with a recessed lip, also has a locking latch.
Back on the hook with a new console cover.

I second that PJ, That boat is clean.
What lake did you fish at? I haven't had any luck this season, plenty of hits, but no hook-ups.
150HP on that boat will REALLY make it move. Plus you have to consider to get the 90 HP out of a 90 HP outboard you have to have it at full throttle. With the 150, You can have it at lower RPM & still have the same HP at the prop with more power in reserve. I have a 90 HP Mercury 4 Stroke on my 17' Lund, Was told if I went with the 115, the boat would do 46 MPH. Does 42 MPH with the 90. Didn'y really care to go 4 MPH faster, but should have gone with more power to have it in reserve.

We fish on Long lake, Brandy pond and Sebago, mostly perch and sunfish with a few pickerel and small mouth mixed in. Not very serious just having some fun with my 6 year old son.
