Enjoying the GOM...going on a crusie!
We spent the day on an airboat ride and then had soul food on Frenchman's Street and listen to some really good jazz and watched the nice gills dancing...Super Bowl mania is going on...bus with teams held up traffic...lots of cops and barricades.

Airboat ride was a good time..I sure have a healthy respect fro what thye do...have to have unlimited LOCAL changing knowledge!

After a day in the sun it was time for some soul food and jazz with some "nic gils"!!

Never understood why mud motors have never caught on round here.

Party on pjay9 for you are in the right place! Airboating is a blast but mudboating is......different! 
And Jetty, they are having babies up here as this drought takes the water levels down to spit.
Oh the pain of my last visit to the Crescent City...I can still smell the aroma of its sewers every time I get hammered now.
If you can, stop in at the Old Absinthe and knock the froth off one for me. Been to the Farmer's Market yet? Lots of things to check out that you may enjoy depending upon your interests.
