34'oil spill response

#1

Post by welderbob »

short video clip of a 34' oil spill response boat we delivered this winter. It has twin 350 hp Yamaha's .With a full tank of fuel the boat did 60 mph. Of course the weight of the boom slowed the boat a little. Didn't run the boat enough to give any fuel comspumtion figures. This is the biggest and fasted boat we have built. The boat was designed by Bill Lincoln @ Response Marine. The hull is a little fuller than a Rocksalt to carry 1,000 ft of oil boom. The is also a large locker in the bow to store adsorbent pads .
The boat has been in service for a few months so it has a few badges of honor.
