Like, can I put up a picture of a Boston Whaler in here?

OK, lets kick this forum off with a special little number from a few years back. Yes, a BW from the commercial division set up for patrol duties, a diminutive 32' with a pair of 6BT Cummins. Oh, yeah, she's aluminum. Wouldn't you love to fish this?

Jay ,You are at the Boston Convention Center Event . How is the turn out today ? How about posting a picture or two? The snow up here is ridiculous . 1 or 2 inches an hour at least

THINK YOUR RIGHT!
Megabyte, that is a SeaArk, if you look at their bow and engine airvents then go to their website photogallery, you'll see that boat or an exact look alike. MartyMegabyte wrote:It kind of looks like a SeaArk without the fenders.

You can always tell because they are the only other aluminum boat builder that makes the wide bow flare is Ironwood. Ironwood makes the wides flare and SeaArk the second widest. Like to see some pictures. MartyChaps wrote:Shiste, you guys are right - that does look like the SeaArk - my notes are bad

Nope - that's a Whaler!
The commercial division built a good number of them - great boats.
They do look a lot like the SeaArks (might have shared plans or sold the plans to SeaArk when they exited?).
One sold recently in CT for $300K+, there is one I know of right in Annapolis and a couple of boats in Charleston, SC.
Strangely enough they were built in Marysville, WA where Pacific builds.
Paul Hureaux, who owned Maritime Skiff until recently, and I were just discussing these boats the other day. Paul used to work for the Whaler Commercial Division when they were making these.
Good find!

Lester,
I'll pass the site on to him.
BTW, I couldn't get on for several days from a bookmark that I set a couple of weeks ago. Finally picked up a fresh link from Magabyte on a THT post.

You might have some members out there in the same fix if you've seen your traffic drop off lately. Don't know what happened but all I was getting for several days was an error message when I tried to bring your site up.

I can tell you what the problem was, at least for me.
When the site went live, SSL was enabled and some URL's were https rather than http.
My bookmark was https and when I couldn't get in the other day, I tried http and was successful.
Some folks might still have the old SSL address bookmarked.
