Ok gents, I need some helpful hints.
I have a leaking hydraulic hose on my tilt/trim system. In order to replace it I have to pull the outdrive. According to the manual, It looked pretty straightforward. The steering helmet, and ram pins were a piece of cake. When I got to the pivot pins, I ran into a road block. The hook up fork pin lock bolts came out easily. The pivot pins were another story. I used a 3lb slide hammer with no success.
This is a 2001 KAD 44 hooked up to a DP-E. If anyone has any helpful hints about removing these pins, I would love to hear them!

Re: Pivot pin removal
I got her sorted out. I applied a little heat from a torch to the area around the pin. Worked like a charm; they drifted right out. I was able to replace the hydraulic line without too many curses, and am pretty satisfied with the results.
