anybody know much about these? the weight isnt bad(a concern for me) and i think the carbed motors have a good rep for reliability. found a couple of these in an attractive price range so they r on my list of possibilities
tried to post a link but couldnt... saltwater 200 merc carbed 2000 model

Depends mainly on how they were used and how well they were maintained more than anything else. Carbed motors in general are adversely affected by today's "fuels" (can't call that stuff gasoline anymore)

yea some strange fuel mixture witha short shelf life and will barely burn with a match...... a bargain at only $4 per gallon! :banghead:

theres also a dealer not too far away that has an 07 150 efi. clean engine reputable dealer $5000 minus prop n controls. i havent heard much about the efis either. didnt realize they still made em in 07...
