Anyone own one of these units. Just wondering where should i put the transducer. Should i weld another bracket in the middle or should i just put it on the other bracket that came with the boat. Will the Side imaging be affected by my other transducer. any info would be great

They aren't too sensitive about where you mount them. They're not designed to function at planing speed so the whole deal with keeping them out of the turbulence doesn't really apply.

I mounted mine using the supplied bracket right next to the down look transducer.

As Chaps said they are not useful at planing speeds and that is pointed out in the booklet that comes with it. So my suggestion is that when you are rolling along at 6 to 8 knots have it mounted so it is in solid water and not turbulance. I hope that is the case with mine, as I have not had a chance to test it just yet at different speeds. Good Luck! Capt PJ
