Took your advise, and lowered my ducer. What are your thoughts? The side view shows the bracket sticking down. Will this create any issues?

PROBLEM FOUND!
OK, I think I see your problem. You see the triangle from you transducer is creating air bubbles before the water can flow over your transducers bottom. Make a PVC triangle wedge and glue it on with 5200 if you don't want to drill and tap two 3/16 x 32 S/S Flat head machine screws to mount it to the bottom. I would make it 6-8" long and a 1/2" wider than the transducer then slightly round the leading edges. This will make the water ride up without making air bubbles. Marty

everyone thought mine was wacky looking, but last week hauled azz offshore for a good ride in 2-4 in the morning and had a great screen shot.

Your a trailer boater Alloy...just play with it. And if your not getting it right Then get a better ducer or do some factory modifications.

I noticed that the transducer you have has a different bracket & mounting configuration than mine. Your mount and where the screw are is much higher or pitched higher than the actual bottom of the unit. This allows yours to be adjusted downward without interference from the mount bracket.
See mine......the bottom of the mount bracket sticks down.......N_G!!
I think my best choice is to mount the bracket as shown and create a wedge as Marty did, or actually make a bracket and side shift the transducer further down the "V" toward the keel, but along the angle (18 degrees) dead rise. This way the ducer will be sitting in deep water.
