I have the sitex colormax11 and would like to add radar and the fishfinder to this. Has anyone done this? Do they just plug into the 2 video ports on the back of the chartplotter. Also my current fishfinder is the sitex color 106 with the dual frequency transducer. I think I've read I can use the same transducer, has anyone done this?

Got my answers. i called sitex support and they were very helpful. The FF uses a T connector to share the I/o input with the GPS and although I could use the same transducer I would give up power the new transducer is 500 watts the old only 300. The radar is a different matter. The machine will have to be sent back for a software upgrade before I can connect the radar and the radar is a little more difficult to install. They recommended a technician install.
