Fraser Island comp 2008 QLD Australia

Post by Riptide »

Haven't been on here for a while and thought you guys might like a little piece of video I put together of last years prestige event "Toyota Fraser Island Fishing Comp". About 4 hours of Sand and track driving to get to the beach launching location. 2000 people and over 325 boats come to the event. The logistics to do this event is mind blowing but it makes one hell of a event to attend. oh go the plate boats.

I wish I could get a diesel Hi-Lux here in the states. My truck couldn't do that. Awesome video!

Now that's some die-hard fishing there.....
Who carries all the ice needed, or the ice machine, and water, generator??

Yep to bad ya'll don't have Ford F350 4X4 duallies diesels with "gumbo monster mudders", and winches front and back.
Dumb azz's drive them around here with a lawn care trailer behind them.

But the smaller the truck the more manuverable, and lighter, that's for sure.

What nice fish!

Very true about those small lighter more maneuverable trucks, you can get them in anywhere.
