Hi all,
Eva & I are staying in the same hotel as Les & Wayne. Now, Eva does not fish. She is not even a boat person unless it is dead flat. Will there be a shore party at the Bar-b-q area from the start? Reason I am asking is because Eva also likes to sleep in, & could get a taxi down to the RV later in the day.
Guesstimates on boat return times?
Looking forward to meeting everybody. Catching fish will be a bonus.
Regards,

Pete in Brisbane

Hey Pete,
There will not be anyone there at the picnic area during the day. My wife and son have plans and won't be able to make it.
She can have a glorious morning at South Coast Plaza with a credit card. :nutkick:

Back at the picnic area around 3:pm I am guessing.

Peter,
Let me know if Eva had anything she was interested in seeing/doing while she is here. Maybe we can help her stay busy. So much to do in southern California that I am sure she will not get bored.
You have my number, so don't hesitate to use it.

Les,
I have asked Holiday Inn to put us on the same floor. Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing?

Scott,
There were a few hairy moments last trip. Eva had to keep telling me to "stay in your own lane" plus the usual trick of turning on the wipers instead of the turn indicator. I survived. :highfive: :highfive: :highfive: :highfive:

My artistic skills have been pushed to it's limit while thinking this up.
Not so much my fabrication skills, but definitely the artistic part.

It's just about finished, but I need your opinions about the finish on the copper leaves.

Should I Sharkhide them so they remain bright copper colored?
Or leave them naked and let them tarnish gracefully?
BTW, the copper is suppose to represent kelp
The aluminum will have Sharkhide on it.

I'm planning on using a vibrating inscriber to write the date, event and winner's name on a leaf for each meet and greet.

Les, If you notice, the leaves are still blank.

Calloy(Don) will be on the first one

Who's gonna be on the second leaf?

What do you think: Shiny and bright or let them tarnish gracefully?

Todd,
As far as I could tell, Kenny is bringing the food.
If I'm incorrect, someone please set me straight

So, BYOB!
