Winter time boredom.

Hey Mojo, post some pictures will ya. :sarge:
I have lots of pics to post, but the ones I have uploaded to my photobucket account are too big. Why does AAB limit the size? It would be sweet if it would resize them. I am lazy.

Picture size takes up a chunk of bandwidth and thus reduces speed of load that we all enjoy???? Some members live in the boondocks and does not have the luxury of broadband speed. Pictures would take forever to load.

I like 640 x 480 for posting pics on AAB.

Sorry for killing that Alaskan rocky mountain high :smitty: There are websites that resize your photo automatically but it would probably shut AAB down and lose all data....... Remember adding TapaTalk for Goatram........ Lester just about nuked the whole site.

Here is a good article.............. http://randsco.com/index.php/2007/11/23 ... or_the_web

Yes I use Photobucket and feel trapped, that if I delete Photobucket I lose all pictures posted on AAB. That being said I like using Photobucket, it is still a pretty neat way of sharing pictures.

Technology can be a buzz kill but you can use it to your advantage too.

Download this freeware ........... http://download.cnet.com/FastStone-Phot ... 19476.html

It will batch resize a whole file of pictures. I created picture file that wish to convert to a smaller size 640x480 loaded them into FastStone Photo Resizer........ Under (advanced options) picked the size I wanted to change too....... Clicked..... (convert). One minute later I had a file of resized photo's.

Photobucket I used the Controller + Alt key to batch download all the pictures I resized........ Two minutes later 12 resized pictures were on my Photobucket acct. A total of 3 minutes.

Soooooooooo without fanfare I post some pictures............ Where to start?????

Ahhhhhhhh .......... Add a comment to this strange picture.

I hear you, Mojo. I use a Mac and iPhoto will resize very easily. I post the same pictures on other sites. They all allow the bigger size which is nice for viewing. I could open another account and upload in the required, smaller size, but I am lazy. So, I just won't post pics anymore. :banghead:

not sure. I just upload to PB and post the [img] tag and it shows up in the post. Whatever size it is, it is too big for here. PB updated their look and "other stuff" too. I know that I used to be able to post from PB here without issue. It all started when AAB was updated. I haven't been able to post since. Pics too big.

So let's try this again. Apparently I was holding my tongue wrong. It seems to work now and does not limit size.

Ahhh........ Now you have made my day. Thanks soo much. Such grace and balance from a 6'6 Alaskan Giant........... Mr. T I am impressed, you have surpassed the master of the pose. I could not do that on the rubber boat  You will now be known a Grand Master T. Now Grand Master T go out and teach your young disciple Sage to point like Mojo.

Pete whatcha feeding Grand Master T, looks like he grew and Hulked up..................... unlike Lester and his Hulk Hogan?????????????

Does this mean I can now post huge pb pictures........... Pete you da sly one. Now keep posting those cool pictures

That was the end of September. We spent our 17th wedding anniversary out there. It was a great weekend. If you zoom in at the end of my pointer finger you can see where Propnut hooked his big flat fish. :highfive:

Thought I posted something ........... Guess I did not.

That picture made my day  what a great backdrop and another example of Pete's playground. If I am invited back I think I need to do some walking about.

Thanks Pete you do not know how much I needed that.

Yes, my Mojo has very strange feet .... NO additional 6th toe going on (but that picture is creepy and I had do a recheck of the digits on my Mojo's feet) . Yes each little Piggy has some fuzz on it, but not enough to comb. The podiatrist didn't seem impressed with his pods. They do well in his getting from one place to the next so that is all that seems to matter.
On the other HAND, (pun really not intended) :rotfl: , Claudia and I need some more time hanging out enjoying the scenery, somewhere, ANYWHERE !!! :titanic:
I feel another vacation happening soon. DESPERATELY NEEDED. :deadhorse: :banghead: :hammer:  :gunner2:

Carol, when ever your ready come on back for as long as you need, heck we need more ER RNs back her too.
I didn't want to tell everyone that Mojo has "NINJA FEET" The 1st time I seen him wear shoes was at Laurens wedding. He did tell me the beach sand was warm and I told him that I just peed , you should have seen the look on his face.

He didn't walk in any Pee but it something that had to be said. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
