Wow! Those are some Big Strakes in the middle. With them forming almost a hull on a hull. IE: They are sorta a 2nd Chine.

This should help the boat be real stable. It's almost like the Bass boats with a pad.

we will make it so!
just get with me on the dates.

Tuesday they start the rigging process.
we cut all the holes for fit, then acid wash and prep for painting.

it's getting hard not to push them for finishing now.

I really don't see how he makes money with how much time they spend getting the boat just right!!

you have a good eye there Jetty!!

I fish the mouth of the River...........
Many days we can and do catch bass, trout, redfish, black drum, sheepshead and catfish all in the same canal.
Same baits too, can't count the redfish I've been blessed to catch on bass crankbaits and spinner baits.

The boat is set up to do most all. She has four inch higher sides than the typical bay boat. Which makes her very wide indeed.

She is self bailing and the craftsman's guess is she will draw 14 inches. Not very skinny water, but not too bad as well. trim tabs and hydraulic jack plate should allow me to get up in some shallow stuff.

Then, I have a place that we only access by boat, so every project that happens back there takes a good sturdy hull to haul everything from lumber to concrete.

We hunt the mouth of the river as well, so the windshields and bench seat allow me build a "cabin" almost for those chilly days. She will haul decoy's, dogs, pirougues, and hunters during the duck season, and she will be MUDDY!!!!!

And during the summer months, mom and the kiddos and I will be sking and knee boarding and generally playing on Lake Maurepas and Ponchatrain. As well as some crabbing. ( my liscense is as long as my arm) I even pull a 12' trawl during shrimp season.

Only in Louisiana!!!!!! Of course I never have the time to do it all, but being this is likely the last hull I will own, I am trying to get it right.

Man, ya got that right. Sportsman's play ground.

I'm addicted to Kevin Ford on La. Sportsman TV, and even read the Mag each month.

There's a huge difference to the attitudes there and here.
Here it's all the kercheif fisherman in S. Florida kissing Reds and trout like babies and while fishing 90K bay boats. La. Sportsman TV is more like what I do here.........

Put the B____H, in the B-O-X, cuz it's a eater! I don't kiss them all, while wearing Colombia sportswear.

So you fish Venice?

If I was to re-locate I can't even figure where I'd go. There's so many good places to be, there.
But it seems, for business and vistors ya can't beat just learning the lake, or fishing out of Venice.

You better charge up them digital camera batteries, brother. Cuz you're gonna have a unique alloy fishing boat on this forum! Dedicated "area" type fish killa boat!
And I'd like to see some REAL world photos!!!!
http://www.louisianasportsman.com/merch ... php?id=678

I think my boat would be okay there, although no trolling motor I think I could kill me my fair share anchored up along some structure, as I do here.

And I'd definately drag me a trawl if I was there!

Your "whatevers" ain't workin for me.....it pops up a sign-in and says access denied.

There's no short cuts here.

It's either take the photos "properties" from a website using the "Image codes", or attach file and upload from your documents via the "Upload a photo" from below the post window.

But I'm sure it looks good. We'll be standing by till launch day. Take plenty of pics...with dead Pontchatrain trout would be great!
