That ain't a fort for a boat with a fort, that's a bomb shelter for a boat with a fort!!!!!!!
AWESOME

Has to hold up all that white stuff, if the roof angle ain't enough.

Personally, I don't know how someone can subject thier boat to harsh sun, or constant dampness when stored for months.
I must be able to be up in my boat doing stuff, when it's 990 degrees in the summer. So protection for me is an absolute must have, and will always have. It's a luxury I will not live without.

I hear you on the sun part as well Dave. I use rubber protectant on my window seals, controls and Scotty mounts etc. which does help but nothing like getting out of the weather (of all kinds). I'm not going to live without it either from now on. This summer was some of the best fishing we have seen up here and I missed half of it because my vessel wasn't ready. Not going to happen to this scurvy dog again.

You can come build my next shelter in Louisiana for me, Sculpin.
-Jus' the opposite, NO ROCKS.

Then we'll slip on our "sandels", don our AAB.com T-shirts and grape hugger "fishin' shorts" and go catch us some of them "LITTLE" southern speckley troutz, and boil up a few pounds of mud bugs.

GREAT LOOKING "club house"!

Well we made it! The roof is complete. Lights are temporarily hooked up to an extension cord. Time to park my gal in her new home. I'm so stoked because it could snow tonight.

Pretty good lighting in there. Lot's of projects are going to get done now.

I am about to back her in there right after I post this. I'll post up a pic of her in her new home once she is settled in and I don't drive through the back wall :rotfl: . Wish me luck.

Cheers,

OK I think one has to make the bed for his sweetheart before tucking her in right?

I cleaned up all the debris and raked and shoveled the area before putting her to bed.(This is temporary until I get a load of fresh drive way chips in).

Image

All set in her new home. I think she likes it!!!

Image

My good buddy Rob Parker who helped me finish off the project today.

A happy captain ready for the next project.

Thanks for following along. The Sculpin is now a happy girl in her new home out of the weather ready to be improved upon.

Cheers,
Sculpin

I think my boat loves me

She would love me even more if I didn't stuff my buddies tupperware beside her :rotfl: .

This is why I build the shed. I hate this crap. At least I can work on her. Heading out there right now to do just that.

The owner of that particular piece of tupperware did all the wiring on the shed so I said he could stuff her in there for a couple of months until he figures out something at his new place. I can't wait to get it out of there :nutkick: It's just not right.

You may want to give your boat a Tetanus shot before it catches some illness from those Tupperware germs.. :rotfl:
