My Eaglecraft 17'
Have had this open fishing boat for 6 years.. Have made a concerted effort to use this winter to make this boat shine.
So far plywood ripped out and currently at the welders: aluminum floor and updated power. Will convert tiller setup to center console helm. Advice on rigging?
The outboard will be an XL leg. Transom is 23" so a bit in between.. Any suggestions or guidelines on power? Rating was for 40-60 HP with weight to the back and tiller setup..
With console going forward to middle a 90 HP should be ok?
Will continue to fish hard around the Gulf Islands (BC) with some short warm weather family trips.
Will keep you posted.
