Modified Cope 36' Patrol boat build thread
Re: Modified Cope 36' Patrol boat build thread
Well to be quite honest it hasnt been, we've been hot and heavy trying to get a Data Center built in Central Oregon and I havnt had time to weld in three months. I had to take on running this job myself while my other foreman have been finishing some other projects. Hope to be back on the boat soon.

Havnt updated pics in awhile, so here's a few. I havnt been able to stay on the project to much due to the blessing of being to busy at work, but I'm getting a little done onthe weekends

I really like the lines of that hull. For some reason I thought that you were going with an inboard diesel. Will you be going with a pair of F350s?

Yes it's looking like 350's at t his point, it Will have a 3 cylinder Mitsubishi to run hydraulics for refrigeration, bow thruster, tuna pullers and or girdles, also some plug and play ports for maybe a winch , or crab pot puller, trying to make her very diverse

After bottom paint, I rolled her over set her on the trailer and dropped the pilot house in place
Re: Modified Cope 36' Patrol boat build thread
Well, Still plugging away when I have time, here's current pics, not a lot changed pic wise, but all internal house structure complete, some railing and trim done, ect. getting ready to install Kohler 3 cylinder diesel and hydraulics over the next month or two, then paint, glass, wire ect. She'll then sit again til late winter then hopefully power so she can be on water by spring
Re: Modified Cope 36' Patrol boat build thread
Still planning on F350's for power or the new Zuke 350 duo-prop?
Re: Modified Cope 36' Patrol boat build thread
Nope, doing the math, I think I have to stick to the 300 Yammies, just dont want to deal with the 350's economy and issues. I think 600 hp will be plenty now that my holds are down to 3800 lb. capcity with the RSW and Hydraulics, I think will still be under 15,000 Loaded weight. If I can cruise at 28 knts with economic burn and a projected 40Knts wot shell be fine.
