Some pictures of my 25' Wooldridge in various phases of the powder coating. Stem to stern refit- absolutely amazing what a transformation the powder coating does. Major corrosion- sandblasted and re welded bottom plates. Silver hammertone interior and blue hammertone exterior

sorry this is my first post..not sure if these pictures are going to show up properly..

Hope it works out for you. I've found in the past that powder coating isn't as durable as one would expect on aluminum but the resins and systems keep developing. Do you know what was used as a primer?

Its called Epoxy DuraPrime, Marine Grade. It has the zinc omitted from it, a lot of prior powder coated stuff had zinc in the primer (that helps conductivity for spraying) but obviously zinc is like an anode..hence failure at sea.

I'm convinced it will last well, SafeBoats has done it for years and I got first hand testimony from them on the durability. There is also a new product called SeaPoly which is not a powder coat, but a polyethylene..its applied with the same equip. and oven.
