Has Anyone Installed A Macerator Pump In A Bilge

#1

Post by ehsvp »

Hi, I'm interested in finding out if anyone has installed a macerator pump in the bilge of their boat. I have a fish box which is under the deck that I want to pump out as needed. The ideal place functionally would be close to the outlet of the box which is lower in the bilge. Can the pump be installed in the bilge without getting ruined? Is there anyone who has installed the macerator pump above the deck and used long piping to get waste to the pump in an attempt to make it last longer? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me with this problem. The total rise from the bottom of the fish box to the top of the deck is about 18".

Get a Whale Gulper pump. No macerator head to get screwed up and can be mounted higher than fish boxes. Google it & watch the vids
