aluminum catamaran

Post by ptbob »

I am looking at a aluminum catamaran and cannot find any info on it.
It says on the side 180 Sea skimmer. It is an 18 foot catamaran has a center consel type ( phone booth type structure .) Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

You "hopefully" came to the right place.

It is aluminum right?

Because if you google Sea Skimmer you do come up with a NON ALLOY boat called Sea Skimmer.....I hope we're not talking "NON ALLOY".

That's a word we don't use around here much.

The one I'm looking at is huge . Probably 7 or 8 ft beam. 25 or 30 in. sides. I'll try and get a picture one of these days.
I currently own a 1625 sk harbercraft. Before that it was a Hewescraft, I've always had aluminum as I fish pretty hard and don't want to worry about being clean and pretty.

Sorry PTBOB........looks like you're on your own.

18-19 Cat alloy boats just ain't hanging off the trees, this is the closest I could come up with........obviously a "southern-style skinny water" alloy cat boat. Perfect fer hunting them, Rascally Redfishez.
