fuel gauge
I have a 200 gal diesel fuel tank and want to install a sender and dash mounted gauge. Between a wooden dowel and my Flow Scan I have gotten by but I am feeling lazy and miss not having a real gauge. I have looked at one that uses a tube that senses the level and another that measures like a depth finder or the old fashion kind that has the float. Are any of you using one that is different that the "old standby" ? I have two large clean out holes on the tank so mounting and isolating it will not be a problem as I can remove the cover and drill or what ever away from the tank.
Re: fuel gauge
I bought one of these for my tank,

Basically bullet proof, all sealed stainless and sealed wiring, will work with VDO fuel gauge. You can get them from 200- 600mm in length to suite your tank.
