Hello Fisherman

#1

Post by Capt. G »

Capt. G here...Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I have just started my new charter business whose web site is named www.fullstrikeanglers.com which I hope you will visit sometime.

I own a 2005 Pacific 2325 which I purchased from Black Lab Marine and I try my best every year to fill it with so many fish that the scuppers have to work overtime!

I fish in the Gulf of Maine for basically anything that swims. Groundfishing is my first love but chasing charlie with light tackle the last couple years has become a new found passion. Nothing beats having a herd of 100lb+ fish crashing top water plugs ...tuna fever is rampant here in the northeast!

Glad to share fish tales and information with fellow fisherman, especially fellow "metal guys" who may be coming to our area to fish and I am looking forward to reading and writing many posts on this site.

Welcome and glad to see another N.E> fisherman aboard.

The fishing season is about to begin for us, if I could just get 5-minutes to get her tuned up and drop her in.

I am watching a warm core eddy that is only 125NM off Montauk just south of the hudson canyon and hope it keeps coming but not too fast since I still gotta get in maybe next week. I took 11-BFT there last May 24th in an early trip and this year, looks even earlier.
