Warning...

Up early this morning and for the first time in a long time visited THT.

Saw one of those highly read pages with a complaint about a company:

and started reading.

Turns out it was about a gent some of you may be familiar with - the former Jim at the former Arc-Tec Marine - made T-Tops, Leaning Posts and such in CT - runs a forum here:

http://www.nbssportfishing.com/

Normally I wouldn't pass along or get involved or take your time about people like this. Too negative.

What made me mad was the fact that in order to continue his questionable business practices he must have set-up a free web forum as a marketing tool for his many companies:

In it he uses the username "Welder". Now that tee'd me off.

Lester who owns and runs this site has a wide internet presence under the name "Welder" and I'm sure that Jim/Jeff from Arc-Tec/Leaning-posts.com/Desert Custom Aluminum knows our "Welder" and purposefully used the name to mislead. He would like to appear as kind and competant and cool as Les. Shame on him.

For the record - I've never personally done business with him.

You can obviously choose to do business with anyone you would like to but I would suggest you think long and hard and do your due diligence before spending dollar one with him.
