Applying Nyalic

#1

Post by fishontop »

For anyone that has done so, what is the best method of applyinjg Nyalic? I have a nice paint sprayer that I could run it through, but I don't know if that is necesary. They said you could also roll it on w/ a foam roller. I have a gallon on the way and I want to be prepared. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm gonna do it too probably at end of summer....so I'll be looking for a report.

I'd just do what they reccomend, myself.

Guys never want to follow directions, I understand. I am one!

ouchy :!:

I thought it was like 2 aresol cans could do the sides of me big metal boat.

Maybe not, huh?

Alrighty then...I'll pony-up also.

Can't wait to see if the "cleaning agents" make here nice and slick again.

I guess I have to use fenders, after spending $300 for the the parts and pieces.

\Dang I wish I had side rub rails..."dos"

JW, I spoke at lenght w/ Skip from Nyalic...great guy. He said he would never apply w/ aerosole cans as I was going to do. He said you could spray it on w/ a nice paint sprayer or roll w/ foam roller. Obviously foam roller would be easier, just looking for anyone that has done it.

I'd go the foam roller route, unless you have an incredibly tiny tip for your sprayer. The stuff goes a loooong ways. It's got lots of VOC's, I recommend an organic vapor respirator.
