Is that a safe next to the under counter refer?

It sure looks like a Gun Safe or it's a Stand up Head for Little people.

Also, there has to be way to put the Hinges on the bottom side of the Hatch/Deck, I do not like standing on those while having an epic battle with Rod and Fish.

It's not a traditional "gun safe", just a Stack-On metal cabinet. Thought it would be a convenient place to put guns and other items rather than having them scattered about the cabin...

Glen, in the brochure of the 26' SS pilothouse with the fishing machine and pilot packages, the weight totals ~4400#. With the bracket, the LOA is ~28'3", correct? North River lists their 26' OS at 5500#. Can you explain the 1100# weight difference? I like that you build your smaller boats with .190"/.160" material, and wish other builders did the same.

This 23' Pilot is being custom made for the customer's specific fishing techniques and boating needs.
There's no rear wall; it has a canvas drop down curtain instead. The rear helm is on the port side and the cabin is raised an extra 4" because he's extra tall.

I am delivering Andy’s boat to the shipper today. My dad Bob volunteered to take it. (He will be 90 years old this November.) I said “Thanks Dad. Why don’t you come with me?”
Grant ran it again yesterday with some of the guys from the shop who worked on it.
When we first ran it with one motor, it hit 34mph. Here are the numbers from yesterday with 9 guys, gas and gear. Glen

The helm in the cabin is on the starboard side. The rear helm is on the port side. The customer wanted it that way because he fishes a lot by himself. He holds the rod with his left hand and uses his right to steer and run the controls. Glen
