Lewmar Profish 700 Free Fall Windlass - Problems

#1

Post by DMan »

Got the windlass install finished. First time running and the clutch doesn't seem to be working right. If I take it out of free fall I can power up and down. But if I free fall and then try to bring it back up it doesn't engage gypsy. Anyone else had this issue??

Thanks mojo. Thinking for a new windlass out of the box I should just get it replaced. Calling lewmar tomorrow.
