We do custom work all the time. The standard sides are .160". I would like to show you how we structure them. Glen

I am hedging my bet and having the builders quote me the package with twin Yamaha 200's as a option. How does your new boat handle when docking with twins John? Better than Tin Lizzy?

Well other than some verbal stuff from Seawolf, Silver streak is the first to quote me a written price off my spec sheet. They are competitive. Now I already own a smaller Silver streak and the quality is great. I bought it used however and have had no first hand dealings with Silverstreak until now. Who on the board has had a Silver streak built? I have heard and read some negative things about them. Anybody care to elaborate in a Pm any firsthand experiences. I am not interested in trashing any company publicly so unless it is positive I prefer the Pm format. Thanks in advance. Steve

I am surprised that you haven't heard from Armstrong. They had price sheets pre printed at the boat show for about a dozen different boats.

I have been having ongoing dialog with Armstrong. Their bid will likely be a very accurate representation of the build I want. I expect it anytime.

Well reality has finally smacked me on the rear. I got my pricing back from Armstrong and it is considerably more than I want to spend :banghead: . I do not regret exploring the option of having a full on custom heavy plate boat built though. I gained much insight and it will help in choosing a boat down the line whether it be new or used. I still may have North River build me a boat depending on how fast my current boat sells and what I can find used. Thanks for all the insight guys!

The 29' with the 9'6" beam getting the 350 is now in the rigging area. We would be glad to give you a ride in it. We could also put you in touch with customers running twins on the same boat. Glen
