LED lights

#1

Post by yakquack »

I am looking to put some LED lights on my 26HT I want Pacific to build, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. These would be floodlights(?) that would shine on the fore and aft deck at night. Must be LED to minimize battery drainage.

Thanks!

I just punched a "12v led flood light" into a search & this is one that came up. I usually look in Amazon.com type places. I think there are a few members who sell or know someone who sell led lights for marine use.

Rigid all the way. I have one of their Dually D2 models on my tower and love it. They didn't have the SR-Q2 series at the time, but I probably would have went with that style if it was available last year. I would recommend the "diffused" lens for use on a smaller boat. I just installed a set of their A series courtesy lights under the gunnels and they light things up very nicely. I'll try and take some pictures in the next week or two.

I concur. Put two of these on the back of my boat and love them. Smaller profile, less draw, longer life. Sorry, deployed at the moment, so no pics.
