welding shop to do some modifications ?

#1

Post by Reelsalty »

New to forum-been reading many posts and realize there are many very knowledgeable folks here.

I have a Hewescraft 22 Ocean Pro (which of course is all aluminum) and want to make some modifications to my existing fish box and a couple other things.

I am not a welder and will never be a welder ,so I need to hire someone to take care of the changes. I live in Seattle and also spend time near Stanwood,( Lake Goodwin) and would like someone in either area.

So.... names and phone numbers of people in these areas will be greatly appreciated. Who can do this and when?

Welcome to AAB. The young fellow (Jim) that did most of the work on fellow AAB member's boat Miss Eliza works/lives in the Whidbey/Snohomish area and would be very qualified to handle your work. John (Goatram) will hook you guys up.

I hired Goatram's friend Jim to do some welding for me. He got right on the job and did excellent work for me. Thank you all for the great recommendation.

Yes do. I was not in the shop when Dave came over. Jim spent about 6 hours or so on the mods. More to come from what Jim was thinking.
