That boat looks very impressive. What kind of load hauling and speed do you expect from it? Have you done one like it before?
thanks for sharing!

The main thing the customer is going to haul is a Polaris Ranger Side by Side, which weighs about 1,500lbs with fuel. The boat also has a 150 gallon fuel tank. I expect the top speed to be around 45mph. We have built loading ramp boats and twins, but never one just like this one.

P.S. Here's a couple more pictures, we are working on both ends. Glen

Lookin good. I was led to believe on another site that putting diesels in jet boats was really really hard and there is only one company that knows how to do it? :roflmao:

I got to see this boat, and meet with Glen and Grant about a week ago, when I visited the Wooldridge Shop with my brother and my dad. I can't wait for the test ride, to see how fast this boat will go. The motors are huge!
Our visit was very informative and Glen and Grant were both very generous with their time, showing us around and answering questions. If you are thinking about an alloy boat, I would highly recommend a visit to Wooldridge Boats!

Cheers!

when I was at the shop, I asked Grant why they were putting in two ginormous engines in the boat. Grant explained, "the owner said it had to be fast"!

Wow. That is really cool that you got about 2mpg at 40 mph. Nice numbers! Congrats. Owner should be very happy.
