I was chatting with a pal today and he brought up a horrible topic! He said I better lock my Edwing or someone could cut it into small squares and scrape it for cash right quick. COULD YOU IMAGINE!??! I bet it would be real easy too.......I wonder what a few thousand pounds of aluminum would fetch at a scrap yard. HOPEFULLY $50 or less!!!!
Have you guys heard of this happening to anyone? What a mess that would be!!!

At 55 cents a pound the boat is worth way more than scrap so that's great news! I bought an engraving pen and I'll engrave my hull number all over the boat!
I'm glad they caught that dirt bag! Too many of them in this world!!

The Lee Shore Swiftsure boat still lives. I picked up the stripped hull and had them add a cabin.

Love the windows! When I built my barge I leaned how much they cost and was shocked!
