Where to mount Fire Ext. on a Pacific V23HT

I still have mine in the console on the shelf because I havn't figured out where to mount it.

Where do you pacific hardtop owners have your fire extinguisher mounted? and are there specific Coast Guard requirements for it's location?

If I get stopped is it a violation if it's inside the console?

Mine is mounted on the inside of the B2B seat............been boarded and inspected with no findings. Figured it was the largest enclosed area on my boat.

I just mounted a pair of them horozontally on the back of the door to the center console. One on the topside of the center shelf and one blow the shelf. Verdict still out if they hold up that way (horizontally) but they seem solid.

Nat her is mine and yes it's a CC with a full welded windshield not a 3/4 HT and I do have one more wire spring bracket I can bring with me to FL.

accsess door exterior rear bulkhead... next to scupper.. I found this a handy solution and looks neat IMO
