Kevin Thorne at it again in his ‪#‎Wooldridge‬ 23’ SSO ‪#‎Pilothouse‬ named “Black Jack”. This guy just may have to make the hall of fame for fishing and fun in a Wooldridge Boat. Kevin always sends us pictures of Black Jack with family and friends, stuff that most people only dream about, this time with some tasty deep sea groceries! Thanks as always Kevin, we always appreciate the incredible shots!

Looks like Ben keeps his ‪#‎big‬ ‪#‎fish‬ streak going with this 100 pound ‪#‎halibut‬! This ‪#‎monster‬ of the deep may have been tough but he is no match for the ‪#‎Wooldridge‬ 29' Super Sport Offshore ‪#‎Pilothouse‬! Ben had us tailor build this ‪#‎boat‬ to meet the demands of his ‪#‎Alaskan‬ playground and from the looks of things, his attention to ‪#‎detail‬ keeps paying off! Thanks for the picture, we love to share!

PS- You know our address for shipping fish & chip supplies...

One of our customers just shared this picture of their kids enjoying their 1983 Wooldridge! This is what they said!

"Just had to share a picture of my kids enjoying our Wooldridge... Still going strong after 32+ years. She's powered by a 2016 Honda 90. Very predictable and compliant boat.... Just a joy to operate and own. I have also used it for hauling logs(I have a sawmill) and have towed thousands of pounds of logs at a time. There are several Wooldridge boats in Unalakleet, AK, and I believe my boss just ordered one recently... Just want you to know that we are all proud owners and I pray I will be able to upgrade in the future (gotta build a house first). We appreciate your commitment to excellence and always making such a sturdy, reliable, dependable, fun product. "

Received some photos from Customer James, here's what he had to say:

"Hopefully you and the ‪#‎Wooldridge‬ crew are doing well and getting out fishing. We recently took an extended trip to ‪#‎NeahBay‬ with the goal of hooking into a lot of kings. Fishing was a little tougher than we hoped, so we just decided to put in more time each day. It was a numbers game at that point, many 12-14 hr days on the water to grind out our fish. The two upsides is that there seemed to be lots of coho out there that were really healthy looking and the weather/seas were great. It felt like we were on a lake most of the time, not the Pacific Ocean. The big three fish of the trip was a 19, 21.5, and 24lber., the top two caught by my father. In the last picture, you can see why we wanted big fish boxes! Tight Lines!"

We are always asking our customers for feedback on our boats, especially on some of the truly custom ones. We just received some pictures and video from Chad and Erica who had us build them their dream 27' dive boat. Our Pilothouse models are always taylor-made to accommodate a customer's specific needs whether that means more creature comforts in the cabin, fish friendly features or in this case, a custom extended cockpit for
dive equipment and custom transom dive door. Tons of other options as well! Looks like some cold water diving was on the agenda for this day. Fun stuff
and thanks for the incredible photos guys!

Flaming Gorge trip back in June. Decent fishing for kokes. Think these were some of the smaller ones.

Even catch tuna once in a while. No luck with the large bluefin tuna though. These were small yft footballs caught mostly on a kokanee hootchie daisy chain I rigged up.

#Wooldridge #Boats factory rep, #Danny #Cook recently went on an annual #steelhead #fishing get away and caught some real dandies! These two pictures are from his second day out. One of the highlights indeed was literally on his first and second #casts into a run. Those two #casts #scored these two #trophy sized #mega #bucks! #Fall is a great time of year for the Wooldridge crew!

Pic of some rockfish at Santa Rosa Island. Ended up with about double in the picture. Also managed the yellowtail. Just goes to show that even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while. Although we did get another one a bit smaller when we repositioned the boat. This one was 43" to the fork. Weighed about 36lbs at home after it was gutted and bled on the boat. It took over 100 yards of braid that the lings could only pull a couple of feet off the same drag setting.

Got a cool picture from our customer Charlie, here's what he had to say:

"Thought you might want to know that my Sport is a good workhorse for me. I've been using it often and am well pleased! Just what I wanted.... a great crossover boat for both river and lake, hunting and fishing. Attached is a pic of our deer hunt/fishing trip last week."

Danny Cook of #Wooldridge Boats is one of our company #steelhead nuts and he’s regularly playing #hooky (no pun intended) all steelhead season long. We suppose it’s a good thing having a #fishing fanatic representing our fishing #boats and overseeing other fishing fanatics boat builds… it makes sense. This past weekend, Danny and his partner in crime, Jovan Covollo ventured out on the #river and forcefully sent a few #hatchery steelhead down for a permanent #beach nap. They even had a chance to release a few early run #wild steelhead as well. Next time, maybe he’ll be sportin’ around in his 17’ Wooldridge #Alaskan XL, we can only hope. Good times guys!
