. . . down south a bit. A few feet longer, a little newer with more cabin. I love my boat but my better half is pushing for some creature comforts and the LaConner comes up a bit short in that department. My desired usage is changing somewhat too so stay tuned, might be switching horses

Close Howard, maybe just a wee bit smaller
You know I just realized that I could have you and Napa Mike just sending me a list of all the aluminum boats for sale world-wide on a daily basis and I wouldn't have to lift a finger shopping around. I bet you've set foot on just about everything on the market in the PacNW, Howard, right? I'm not a bad boat sleuth myself but I'm a piker compared to you two.

Purely recreational now that we have the Armstrong. Spent what, 2-3 years looking before we sat down at the bar..Chaps wrote:Close Howard, maybe just a wee bit smaller

Very, very happy with what we got...
Just spend too much time seeing what is out there. Was comforting to see a similar, less equipped, less power 28' Armstrong sell in 3 days in Alaska.. Makes me feel good if we ever wanted out or to upgrade..

Yeah, remember that funky little blue tug-like trawler you were hot to buy way back when?
