I'm in the process of planning the framing for walls inside the cabin of my alloy boat. What have you been using for the wall covering? I'm leaning toward using King Starboard XL in 1/4" thickness. Would probably use the same material for the ceiling as well. I've read that some people are using FRP panels for the same application. This boat is more of a fishing/work boat so I need a low maintenance material that is durable. Also, how do you attach your wall covering the framing?

What Are You Using For Cabin Wall Surfaces
Re: What Are You Using For Cabin Wall Surfaces
This is how mine was built in the 80's. Not exactly a modern look but easy to do and good sound deadening. Walls covered with a rubber backed commercial carpet, glued on with framing trimmed out in teak. Ceiling is thin masonite with formica skin fastened to frames with seams covered with teak strips (insulated). Dash panel and top were bare aluminum, I fabbed up some corian countertop to freshen that up in a re-do a few years ago.
