Clean edge paint removal

All,
I have a 2016 alloy boat built by one of the large PNW manufacturers. It has a painted cabin, you can probably guess the rest of the story. Plenty of unsealed holes are causing the old white powder and paint bubbling. The corrosion is currently small. Is it feasible to remove the snap, latch, bolt and sand/ wire wheel the paint off. Leaving a nice tight paint line, kind of like a trim reveal of bare Al and reinstall whatever hardware? Taping and blasting would probably be preferred but would be logistically a pain. Maybe a thin 18ga. Hole template and a wire wheel? Any thoughts or advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.
