Windows defrost?

#1

Post by Trousertrout »

Going to be ordering a boat soon. I am nervous that, without a heater, the windows will be fogging up if a few guys enter the cabin after fishing in the rain. Planning on a couple DC fans. Any thoughts?

Might look into some of the scuba diving goggles anti fog to put on the windows.

Rain X anti fog. Works pretty good in my boat.

Get a Planar heater. They are an easy install, great improvement to your boat and not terribly expensive.

commercial fishermen, i know in ak use JOY dish soap on the interior of the glass. a few drops on a paper towel and give it a smear. works well. cheap too. of course, nothing beats hot.dry air blasting the glass.
