Anyone have an idea on how to remove non-skid paint from aluminum? tried using a oscillating tool, way too slow ! Boat is a 2002 Pacific. Some paint comes right off, other areas are really on there.

I would try a side grinder with 80 grit, Pacific uses Farwest paint http://www.farwestpaint.com on their decks, I spoke to Farwest a while back they will sell you the paint direct and can mix it to any Sherwin Williams color, you can go right over the existing paint just get rid of any loose paint. I was thinking of switching my to a light tan color from the gray.
