Saw my 1st "all roller" trailer at the boat ramp last week....and looked to see if it had NY to Maine license plate, and it didn't. Obviously a transplant, thats been here awhile.

Roller trailer

Post by jimw »

I don't understand why anyone would want a bunk trailer. Why
put the whole trailer in the water to load, just for the extra salt ?
A roller trailer is a one man show on and off, steep ramp or no ramp !
It self centers the boat and the boat rolls on and off with ease.
Yes i am a north east guy, been using roller trailers for over 30 years.
The newest style rollers are a composite of hard plastic inside and a
non marking softer outer layer, no lube needed, no flat spots like the
old black rollers.

Thats why we buy a real aluminum trailer...It's no big deal and Fast.
Ya'll take too long. I can be in or out in 2 minutes with a drive on.
And here if you sit on the ramp piddling....you'll hear about it too on a busy weekend.

Huh?????? Ya mean the one in my signiture photo????

New Jersey? No I'm in Jacksonville Florida. And although I do catch them here, I'm usually holding Speckled Trout.
We call weakies......yellowmouths. We have our own strain of rebels here. My biggest though is only 7 pounds, and thats a whoppper weakfish for here these days.

Is there Jetties like that near LBI?????? I fished many times out of LBI with family there, never saw any jetty rocks like that.

Look here, if ya wanna see more T-routz, http://www.captdaves.blogspot.com all flavors

where we hail from is on the right side of each of our postings.

I'll add J-ville back to my signature photo.
