That has got to be the craziest, coolest thing I've seen in a long time!

I wonder if I would have to tag that thing as a trailer & as a boat in Texas?

Cool find there Jetty! :highfive:

Wow Jetty where do you find this stuff.

Super how you doing? Pretty crazy stuff having a tornado in your marina. Everything ok?

So Cal Tornado's...... Floods, Giant squid invasion, H1N1, Dog and cats sleeping together, Dozens of Bluefin Tuna being caught by hand in the surf. (All I can Verify as the truth.) Wonder what Pat Robertson has to say about us So Cal'ers.

Probably going to need one of those boats to live out of :rotfl:

All good Mojo...when are we going fishing? I am gassed up and ready!! I wish I went out last weekend, the rain could have given the boat a good wash and I wouldn't have even had to rinse it off. Give me a call when you can.

Mojo,

"Did Ya forget about the fruits-n-nutz?" :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm a pro surfer. I somehow found these folks. Don't know how.

Sent them a email that they needed to come by and check us out here at AAB, and join the Canadian coalition of boat builders.....or at least make a few new friends.

I beleive that boat/trailer was originally designed for freshwater lakes. But I guess all ya really need to do is add some buddy bearings, and some lube and your in the salty stuff too.

Talk about a duck boat, a Maine Islander boat, or a family weekend boat.

The Float Trailer already has bearing Buddies, and has seen the Pacific Ocean with a 6' chop and handled it without issue.
My dad is one of the Partners for AffordableDreamBoats.com I work at a Marina in Howe Sound BC, between Vancouver & the Sunshine Coast in Southern BC. There are 7 islands and at any given time in the Summer on an inflow tide or outgoing between Bowen, Gambier & Bowyer Islands there is this mess of tidal waves going in every direction. It is a horrible place to be in a small craft. Last summer (09) Dad & I would go over to Gibsons Landing on the Sunshine coast for lunch, From Sunset Marina to Gibsons in the 20' Float trailer with a 60hp ETec full out at 45 kph. our crossing time was usually under 30 mins.

The design of these boats and the floatation makes it so that skip along the tops of the waves, with very little porpoising . The design of the boats has changed a little now for 2010. The Wheels no longer tuck up inside the hulls, they are external, and the whole system is on hydraulics. They have a greater carrying capacity over land & sea.

I have a mix of old & new pictures.. These are the new design of the Float Trailer with the wheels external.

And the Hydraulic Controls

The interior layout (the NEW Design)

The Interior layout (the OLD Design)

On Land

The 20' old design and my 1994 Chevy Tracker

Deep6Canuck Style,

I believe I like the K-I-S-S system better......wheels tucking up hand cranked, and no Hydralics.

Sometimes less is better. But that's from my stand point of seeing the web site and photos here.

I clicked on them photos and got sea sick :rotfl: :rotfl:
