Receivers? what to do with them?

#1

Post by JETTYWOLF »

WHO ever takes their receiver hitch out?

I know I don't.

I love watching people walk into that ole greezy thang and bang their shins :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

But wait :!:

You don't have to worry no longer. Towing many a ball size trailer? Have multiple receivers clankin' around yer truck bed, or in your truck box?

Almost sounds too good to be true huh? :?: Eliminate all that fuss and muss.... :sarge:

Take it from DU-HA, yes from this little red and white building in Fergus Falls, MN. DU-HA, is your problem solving HQ :!:

It may sound like another product from RONCO, but no.....it's DU-HA

Between the 3000# capacity floor jack, 24 inch long Mac Tools 1/2 inch drive ratchet, 3) 1/2 inch drive extensions, 6 lug nut sockets, the pintle hook/ ball combo on adjustable mount, 4 10,000 straps, 6 2500# straps, & a 30 foot chain, I don't hear too many rattles. That ball mount holder is still a nifty gadget.

Speaking of shin whacking. I used to have one of those adjustable "tri-ball" mounts that could be mounted up, down & all around that stuck out past the back of the truck about 16 inches. I was getting gas one time & some guy pulls in right behind me to the point I thought he was going to hit the ball mount. He gets out & tries walking between the 2 vehicles & doesn't see the ball mount. First his shins & flat on his face. Got right up & HE NEVER SAID A WORD. So after that I decided to not leave it in the receiver any more & bought a traditional 2 inch rise ball mount that doesn't stick out so far.

C'C'mon Sabs........what would Chris Farley do?

"keep the receiver in the dang hitch!" :nutkick: That's what he'd do. You're being too kind.

You forced me to ask why you're carrying all that junk with ya?

Ya towing a boat with a tow truck, or a Mac Tools truck?

I saw that gizmo from Du-Ha, in Fergus Falls MN. (sounds like a town in Ireland to me) and thought why ain't Ron Popiel selling that thang on Sunday morning, TV.

Jus kinda cracked me up.

It's for the man who has everything, to include the "carpet lined pick up bed" , with lights, and the NON ALLOY tonneau cover, that lifts up on electric rams. And pulls a "trailer full of BBQ's" to tailgate, at the Viking games :rotfl:

You never know what you will need to secure a load to the trailer.

24 foot long roof trusses on a trailer with a 12 foot deck. GOTTA LOVE those 8 foot beds

Here it is Jetty. The garage is 36 feet wide, but only 16 feet deep, hence the reason it has to be done this way.

That DODGE ram sure "turns" tighter than my ole 95 Ford that's for sure, but unless you have a swiveling truck bed, I'd hope.......

NOT!

But hell that boat's light enough to jus' have one pushin and one pulling and then hitch'er up and go Pike fishing!

Hey Chaps,

You wouldn't happen to have a Delorean time machine sitting next to your rifle & pool cue would ya?? Just askin, I could put it to some good use if you aren't using it. :rotfl: . Got Pops at home doing the drawing plans for the new garage, he's out on comp after his SECOND shoulder surgery. Saw a picture of your new set-up, NICE :highfive:
