Help Identifying trailer Please

Hi guys,
Hey I bought the 29' maxweld that Armstrong Marine took on trade. I'm having a hard time getting the trailer registered here in BC. Seems it's missing the compliance tag that has the gvw, gcvw, axle ratings, year of manufacture, etc. Anyone know what kind of trailer he used? did he make his own trailers? Or did they startoff with a generic trailer maker and add his stuff to suit? If I knew the trailer manufacture I could hopefully get them to fax the compliance sticker info...
looks like the trailer that chaps has under his previous maxweld....
thxs for any help.

Did it come with license plate or trailer pink slip??????? States Department of Motor Vehicles should be able to give info on trailer.

Check this info.

thxs for the help guys,
It's original plate is HS82996

I have the oregon vehicle certificate of title and vin and oregon heavy trailer registration slip

it belonged to Nathan Beau Brandow of outer island expeditions in washington. I called oregon dmv but they mentioned they don't keep the gvw stats, etc... they just give the trailer a designation.... HT for heavy trailer I assume.
I went to the easy loader website but it seems they only make trailers for boats up to 10,000 lbs it seemed.
boatinfo world is great for the boat info, but not so good on info for the trailer.

That trailer looks like it ought to be turned into a triple axle HD alloy trailer, with SS hubs and a custom built bow boarding ladder.

Jus' sayin'

You buying that boat and truck to pull it, Gander?

Thxs for the help guys,
Just got back from a fishing trip up in Prince Rupert. Had to take my old boat but was hoping to use the "new to me" one... I'll check with the dmv and hope they have something. Yes plate shows it being a maxwell or maxweld trailer... A-1 manufacturing. this trailer thing has been a nightmare. I got a letter from Armstrong Marine stating the trailer was custom manufactured to the boat but riv in canada wouldn't accept it. I have all paperwork, cept thwe tag that's apparently supposed to be on the vehicle and they are saying without the ag i have to return the trailer to the US. Can't even have it certified here... You would think that an agency would be able to inspect it and see that it has 7,000 lb axles, etc... and give it an OK. but riv is being completely anal about it.

you might try contacting Oregon dmv if the trailer was originaly registered there they would have a copy of the trailer certificate

finally got this all worked out. Was a bit of a struggle with countless emails, letters, etc to different bureaucratic agencies.. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Time to enjoy it a bit. Just in the midst of redoing all the brakes, calipers, rotors, hubs, bearings, etc... may have been cheaper to purchase a new trailer. Maybe down the road...
Looking forward to getting this baby in the h2O
