Had a great group of guys the other day 12/22 and they were all fisherman and boy we got on them.
"Almost like Louisiana"
My crew
Lots of "double headers"
several 24 INCHERS.
FISH BASKET FULL OF KEEPERS
"THE PILE", limited out with 30, a 5 man limit (including my limit of 6) and several BIG FATTIES.
Two days before, we got ate alive by the GREEN scourge fish know as Bluefish ( I hate them more than anything) but pulled out some decent Trout.
Tom had his 83 yeat old dad aboard, and later in the day what did he hook?
A big Redfish, right next to sharp boulders. He got his butt handed to him on LT "aka Light Tackle".
Then we went back to the Jetties for a few more Trout, and then Tom hooks a MISSILE
A "Litl Tunny" aka: Bonita, Bonehead, Football, etc.
It burned drag so fast it yanked big Tom from the stern to the bow on the LT float-rig and a #8 hook
Bring yer "slickers" and lets go fish some "LT".
ALMOST...Louisiana style. Almost.

Wow, a slab-a-thon! Congrats Captain Dave and I hope you enjoy your Christmas!
I only do what the voices in the Tackle Box tell me to.
