We're getting rain tomorrow but this W/E is shaping up pretty nicely for a trip to the river for some frying pan fish. We delivered parts to a fellow who sells mini-pontoon paddle boats and I think I may have found my river craft! .08 5052 tubes and structure, weighs ~300 lbs. and the fishing set-up is sweet. Hang a 5hp or so on the back and yeeeehi!

We had all that wind Tuesday through Wednesday, gusts to 55mph.

In the public lakes here, almost all are electric motor only so something like that would be perfect. Besides being close to me, they receive little fishing pressure during the Weekdays.

Dawg, damn you must be way WEST.....now it's rain, rain, rain.

Got lucky all 4 days rescheduled to the future.

Whewwww......I hate loosing $1600-$2,000, in one swoop. I could have use the gobs of cash right now rather then spread all over the place.

Instead, I go and take Ebay sales proceeds and spend them at the #1 on-line tackle retailer in the east.

http://www.tackledirect.com - Free 2 day shipping to FLORIDA
plus $15, off using the coupon code, p-l-u-s.....Free shipping if order is over $200.

Gotta love on-line shopping :!: :!: :!:

Lol, only 355 miles NW of you and about 40 miles North of the super rain that is falling South of Macon to beautimous JAX & FL. Wind advisory is in effect from 1800-0800 tomorrow with a 30 mph steady wind. Sunday appears to be it for me but the River will be WAY UP so I'll have to check the Dam website for flow rate and water level to decide if it is safe enough.

Hear about the short fin mako caught off Navarre Beach? May be a New World Record for the surf category as it weighed in excess of 900 lbs!

No, but I remember reading on Texas Forums about a whole set of years that giant Mako's were caught off the beach.

YET ANOTHER REASON I WANNA BE A GULF COASTER...THE ATLANTIC JUST AIN'T MY BAG ANYMORE. HARD TO HOLD INTEREST SOMETIMES.
