My Rig

Post by Tin Cup »

I'm guilty of 'taketh more then giveth' with regard to this forum and have gained tremendous knowledge from AAB and want to thank everyone for that. I have never posted pictures of my boat so here is the Tin Cup. First as purchased used a few years back, 20' Pacific CC with a (super fugly) aftermarket hard top fabricated and bolted directly to the CC...

Then the first round of changes and mods started; added a shelf to the hardtop and mounted the GPS/FF up top, added the console grab bars, got rid of a not so functional storage area in the front of the console that was covered by a mud flap :?: and added the tackle storage hatch. The truck-bed rod rack solved a big problem for me  , and the custom bait board should look familiar.

In early June of this year, another round of minor changes was completed; welded on a grab handle and ladder bracket, finally added bunk carpet isolators. Thanks to AAB, I was aware of the issue and had been meaning to get it done, AT's post prompted me to get it done. I used PVC trim boards from Lowes, worked great and was a fraction of the cost of using HDPE. Also added a 2nd eye on the bow, so that the bow can be strapped down to the frame of the trailer.

Thanks to all

That's exactly what it is. She runs great, quiet and with a lot of power, 140 is max for the boat. 40 knots @6100rpm, 25 knots @ 4200 rpm. I never have figured out the fuel economy but don't fill her up very often, I'm very happy with the Suzuki.

Hey TC how are ya? I still think of the day we met at the ramp in RI, the little guy was so exited to show me his dead crab! what a hoot. Still brings a smile to my face when remembering the look on his face. Clambo
