Pacific 1925 first day out

#1

Post by Sjoman »

You asked for pictures so here they are.

First day on the lake with my newly acquired Pacific 1925 was a real treat. Bought the Pacific 1925 long distance, sight unseen, and had it delivered from RI to Seattle. In the past I swore never to buy anything again without seeing it in person but I am glad I did. So far nothing but praise for the Pacific and going from 2 to 4 strokes is a treat. Hope to get the downriggers mounted before the weekend for some Coho and Humpy action and next week some Rufus Woods triploids and maybe some Lk Chelan lake trout.

Welder! You too with that Bloddy Deck stuff?? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Really versatile, EZ to own boat ya got there.

Now, if ya want more storage, cut holes in the gunnel boxes and rip that foam out of there. My only beef with a 19 is space not utilized, and that space is the gunnel boxes.

Perfect gaff storage, rod storage, hose storage, etc.

When that boat was on Pacifics web site didn't realize it had a trailer that you could launch and retrieve from the "surf" with them high side bunk boards.

Enjoy, and thanks for being a fellow Center Consolist.

I thought about cutting holes in the side of my gunnel boxes but decided against it, I think if the boat ever capsized the gunnel boxes would makes it want to re right itself. Storage is a issue, I found a 35 gallon Rubbermaid action packer, http://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/Page ... D=RP091427 fits under the leaning post perfectly and I can keep everything in there, then I have a 120 quart cooler in front of the console for a seat and cooler.

First time out on a very flat Lake Washington we did about 22 knots at 4000 and 30 around 5500. No speed demon for sure but it gets on step in no time so I assume tons of torque

It's VERY safe to say that ALL of our west coast MEMBERS [ from Baja to Alaska ] are also Bloody Deck members so I will promote www.bloodydecks.com when ever I can. A bunch of those guys have sent some very nice DONATIONS this way to help keep this site running.
We just need to get them T-rout guys in some ALLOY and over here . Jetty , I know you promote your 26 every where you go.

This is just another plug for our west coast brethren. ( insert the BD Salute here )

I bet those 60's get her up on step perty quick with a good load in her. I like to cruze in the low 20's in my 23, my back likes it better.
Now running around Louisiana on glass flat water for 2 weeks the low 30's at 4200RPM's was a TOTAL BLAST , Thank you Lucky Louie.

AAB is always #1 to me. And I my hands full just keeping my bills paid, promoting myself.

People here need to realize, there's load of us WHO ARE NOT LEFT COASTERS! If, ya wanna go there...I'm ready.
What bugs me is Forums that get taken over by a certain geographical region, and they don't even know they are doing it.
Jus' by shear representation.

Name the Southern members "that own Alloy Boats", that are active here? Compared to.....

That's why I get a bug up my azz. (insert bug up azz, salute here)

Nice boat. Like the twins. F60's did I hear?

I bought sight unseen once from across the country and another time I flew out to inspect and then pulled trigger. Both instances involved towing x-country. West to east in my case. Makes for some interesting trailering stories. Any you'd like to share? http://aluminumalloyboats.com/posting.p ... 0aea5b7dda#

Good luck with your new boat.
